Female artists of the postwar era have been largely underrepresented in modern art history. 
Conservator and IN THE STUDIO instructor Corey D'Augustine explores works of artists like Joan Mitchell, Louise Nevelson, and Yayoi Kusama, among others, and argues that their styles were so diverse and individualistic that just about the only thing they had in common was their gender.
